The hard work of Parish Council Handyman and Gardener Martin Smith has been recognised by the judges of the Brewood Civic Society annual Hanging Basket and Floral Container Competition this year, 2013.
The troughs in front of the Council offices in Stafford Street, Brewood were awarded first place in the Commercial Section of the Floral Containers category with W Maiden & Son also of Stafford Street achieving second place and The Three Stirrups in Engleton Lane third.
Martin is to be congratulated not only for this achievement but also for his sterling work throughout the Parish in support of the Brewood, Coven and Bishops Wood Best Kept Village competition entries in which Brewood achieved first place, Coven third and Bishops Wood was Highly Commended.
The Parish Council has made available the topic headings against which feedback is being sought at its Community Drop-in events. If you are unable to attend one of the three Drop-in events scheduled but want to feedback to the Council please follow the instructions below. There are still two scheduled drop-in events.

The Parish Council has recently agreed to start a page on Facebook. It will feature updates to this site as well as local news and information. It will also allow for a more interactive experience between residents.
